What is Kidney Cancer

Kidney cancer is a malignant tumor that most often develops from the epithelium of proximal nephron tubules or calices-pelvis system. Among all cases of malignant neoplastic processes, cases of kidney cancer are on the tenth place. The number of all cases amounts to 2%. Every year, approximately 250 thousand of new cases are registered and approximately 100 thousand people die from the disease. Most often, it occurs in people who live in cities and who are between 50-70 years old.
