What is Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is a malignant tumor of a gland tissue of a mammary gland. It is the most frequent in the world form of cancer among women damaging during life from the 1/13 to the 1/9 of women in the age from 13 to 90 years. It also ranks second in frequency as cancer disease after lung cancer in full set population.
Breast cancer is a multifactorial disease, the development of which is related to the change of a genome of a cell under impact of external causes and hormones. The changed population’s life style in developed countries is considered the reason of a sharp increase of the number of breast cancer cases.
