What is Bile Duct Cancer

The bile duct cancer is the cancerous disease that is relatively rare. Females are exposed 1.5 times than males. The bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma, malignant cholangioma) develops inside and outside the liver.

In most cases, the cancer is diagnosed during the surgery to remove the bilestones. Excess weight and female sex are the risk factors. The risk is significantly higher at the chronic inflammation of bile passages caused by autoimmune disease either an infection.
